Security firm finds small percentage of iOS apps still vulnerable to FREAK exploit
Security company FireEye recently examined iOS and Android apps to determine whether they are vulnerable to the recently publicized FREAK attack. Using a man-in-the attack, a hacker can intercept these HTTPS connections and force the vulnerable clients to use a weakened form of encryption. Once compromised, the hacker can access the sensitive data being transmitted via HTTPS.
Nintendo partnering with Japanese mobile game developer DeNA to produce smartphone games
Nintendo today announced that it is partnering with Japanese mobile gaming company DeNA to produce smartphone games featuring Nintendo characters.

Microsoft may bring its Cortana digital assistant to iOS
Microsoft is preparing to release an advanced version of its Cortana digital assistant on iOS and Android in the future, reports Reuters. The software is being developed as part of the company’s artificial intelligence project, codenamed Einstein.

Watch Apple’s “Spring Forward” event live on Apple TV
Apple’s “Spring Forward” Watch event will begin in just a few hours, and an “Apple Events” channel on Apple TV will let you stream it live.
The new channel, which Apple busts out to live stream select media events, will appear automatically on your Apple TV. If you aren’t seeing, go to the device’s settings screen and restart it.

Microsoft releases Office 2016 for Mac preview
Microsoft has released a preview of Office 2016 for Mac that includes several firsts for the platform, including a revamped ribbon and tighter consistency across platforms. The release will let users get their hands on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and One Note before the final release comes out in the second half of 2015.
